Terms of service

Booking Confirmation:

• To confirm your session booking, a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total session fee is required at the time of booking.

• This secures your appointment with us and prevents us from making any other bookings for this time.

Payment Terms:

• Full payment must be received before the final images are delivered. No images will be released until all outstanding balances are paid in full.

Session Duration:

• Each headshot session will last approximately 5-10 minutes per individual. For group sessions, a tailored schedule will be agreed upon based on the number of individuals being photographed.

Travel Fees:

• A travel fee of $30 will apply for sessions held at locations more than 15km from Central Auckland. Additional travel fees may apply for locations further away.

Delivery of Final Product:

• 2 edited portraits will be provided for each person.

• The Photographer will deliver the final edited images within 7 business days following the photography session, depending on the scope of the project.

• Initial proofs will be provided for the Client’s review within 2-3 business days, with the final product delivered 3-4 business days after approval. Delays in Client feedback may extend the timeline.

• Final images will be delivered in high-resolution digital format, suitable for print and web use, via an online gallery or download link.

• The Client has 48 hours to review and request any revisions. After this period, the images will be considered accepted. You may not amend your order at this stage. All orders are final.

Rush Orders:

• Expedited delivery may be available for an additional fee if the Client requires the headshots sooner than the standard delivery timeline.

Retouching and Editing:

• The photographer takes no responsibility for the artistic quality of the photographs where there are factors outside of our control (for example, poor choices of clothing, make-up, hair, or weather-related issues)

• Images may be retouched at our discretion. If significant additional retouching is requested (for example, head swap, fixed ties, creases out of pants, slimming, (this is classed as advanced retouching) it shall be charged at $50 per image.

• The Client must raise any issues with the images at the review stage. If further retouching is required you will be emailed the artwork to approve the amendments.

Social Media and Portfolio Usage:

• The Photographer may use images from the session for marketing or portfolio purposes, including on social media, unless otherwise requested by the Client at the time of booking.

Rescheduling and Cancellations:

• Sessions may be rescheduled or canceled with at least 48 hours' notice. In such cases, any fees paid beyond the deposit will be refunded.

• Please note that the deposit remains non-refundable.

• For outdoor headshots, if weather conditions are unfavorable, the session may be rescheduled at no additional cost. The Photographer will work with the Client to find a new suitable date.

• If the photographer has to cancel or postpone your appointment, we will give you as much notice as practically possible and make reasonable endeavours to reschedule to a mutually convenient time.

Client Responsibilities:

• The Client is responsible for ensuring all individuals to be photographed are prepared and available at the agreed session time. Delays caused by the Client or employees may result in reduced session time without adjustment to the fee.

Photographer’s Rights:

• The Photographer reserves the right not to provide RAW or unedited images under any circumstances. All images will be delivered fully edited and meet the Photographer’s quality standards.

Governing Law:

• These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand.
